God does not willingly afflict us April and those who think He does will fear Him in the flesh and not Trust Him when hardship comes, we as His redeemed Children never have to fear our Abba Father which the Scriptures confirm quiet a few times, all things good come from Him, He is Love and can do no evil, He hates it!
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.
When we know the True Nature of God in our hearts, we never doubt His goodness towards us but yes until we come to heart repentance, just like the Prodigal son, He will discipline us by letting us reap the bad we sow and He will motivate others to chastise us or use life happenings to warn us, He knows every detail of our lives, past, present and future but when we come to our senses, Wow what a welcome home!
Psalm 107: 8 – 9 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the Children of Men! For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

What I hold onto April in the hardship that life brings is The Lord never leaves us and gives us His Strength to endure, His plans for us are very good.
